"My statements will for the first time give the people of Fiji the true picture of the spineless people heading the regime .... they no longer care about Fiji, just about giving themselves as much power and money as they possibly can"
1) Do you consider yourself a fugitive?
No, I have left Fiji to force regime change. Khaiyum and his puppet Bainimarama must go. I would not be able to say or do anything if the regime had had their way and locked me up in Naboro. Here in Tonga I am able to speak freely and will lead Fiji back to democracy.
2) Are you confident Tonga will stick by you?
It is not a question of Tonga standing by me. I am confident that should Frank try to have me extradited then I will get a fair hearing in the courts in Tonga and I am sure justice will prevail.
3) Why, because of family links?
The Royal Family have very kindly given me accommodation and that is because of family ties. I would like to thank King George and his family for all their kindness and generous hospitality whilst I have been in the Kingdom.
4) What is your reaction to the Tongan Prime Minister's statement?
I am very happy with the Tongan Prime Minister's statement. I am in a country where I will have a fair hearing in court. It is worth noting that the fact the Fiji Press have been made to twist the words of the Prime Minister of Tonga shows the lengths this regime will go to, to protect themselves.
5) Do you think being in the Palace will 'protect' you from extradition orders and prosecution?
As I said I am confident the law will protect me from extradition. My statements will for the first time give the people of Fiji the true picture of the spineless people heading the regime and that they no longer care about Fiji, just about giving themselves as much power and money as they possibly can.
6) When will you start spilling the beans about the regime?
I am just getting myself settled after a difficult time. You can expect regular statements from me over the coming weeks.
7) What do you think is going through Bainimarama's mind now? And Khaiyum?
I am sure they are looking at which countries do not have extradition treaties with Fiji. So that when they run they won’t be brought back to face the consequences of their actions. As I have said I will come straight back to Fiji to answer to the people for my actions.
8) Did you know you were under investigation for missing Fiji Pine funds?
No, I will answer more fully in a forthcoming statement.
9) What is your message to the Fiji people, and supporters - after yesterday's address to the nation by Bainimarama?
We could all see the look of desperation on the faces of Bainimarama, Naivalarua and Tikoitoga. They all know their time is numbered. It is time for the people of Fiji to realize that they can stand up. They can be sure that no soldier will shoot a fellow Fijian in order to protect the evil Khaiyum and his ignorant puppet Bainimarama. Democracy will return to Fiji soon.
10) What information are you wanting to get out to people and the world?
I will make this clear in my future statements. Coup 4.5 will be amongst the first to receive them. I would also like to thank you. You have been a major embarrassment to the regime for a very long time. You are the one way that the people of Fiji are able to hear about the truth in their own country.
Regime Change should happen in Fiji soon
